Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship:
- Is part of a national organization of students in higher education who unite to express the person and claims of Jesus Christ to campus communities and to call others into relationship with Him
- Is located on more than 200 campuses across the United States, and in numerous countries around the world
- Is a Protestant, Pentecostal campus ministry in nature but non-denominational in focus
The Name:
Chi Alpha comes from the Greek christou apostoloi, meaning “Christ’s sent ones.”
Our Mission:
Is taken from Paul’s writing in 2 Corinthians 5:20, “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors…we implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God” (NIV).
In Chi Alpha you’ll experience:
- The presence of God as you draw close to Him through times of Worship and celebration.
- Effective and meaningful times of Prayer individually and in a group setting.
- Meaningful relationship, relaxation, recreation, sharing, Fellowship and fun!
- A deeper knowledge and faith in God, and growth in your understanding of the Discipleship process through small group times, special retreats, and annual conferences.
- How to share you faith in God with others. Chi Alpha provides opportunities for Witness, and to serve you camp8us community through acts of service and love.
- You’ll learn to view your campus as a mission field and take part in making a difference.
Making Friends:
You’ll make friends from all over the world. ISFM (International Student Friendship Ministries) is Chi Alpha’s way of reaching out to international students during their time of study in America. With over 500,000 students coming from nations around the world, many have never before encountered the truth about Jesus Christ.
Missions:
Chi Alpha has a radical missions message for students to count the cost and rise up and follow Jesus to the ends of the earth, whether that be for a week, a year, or a lifetime. See Encounter Magazine.

Person of Jesus Christ.
